Parrot has unveiled a set of wireless Bluetooth speakers that will stream your music from any A2DP source. The Parrot DS1120 packs a total of 30W RMS power into the speakers, each equipped with a Class-D digital amplifier.

For added flexibility, the Parrot DS1120 allows you to connect audio sources via RCA cable. Further, Parrot has even included a Bluetooth 2.0 USB dongle if your computer does not already support Bluetooth.

Look for the Parrot DS1120 in October for about $280 US.

Parrot’s DS3120 Bluetooth stereo system has just been announced. It features an SD card slot, line-in, and FM radio. Also featured is a 1.8″ TFT screen for music details and phone information. The Parrot DS3120 has a built-in battery for up to 10 hours of battery life for complete portability.

Stream music from any Bluetooth enabled device or use the Parrot DS3120 as a Bluetooth speakerphone with its built-in microphone. It even has noise-canceling capabilities for optimal call quality.

The Parrot DS3120 will be available in October for about $240 US.

Quick and easy seems to be the motto of the Parrot PMK5800, a new Bluetooth car kit that promises great quality with no installation necessary. All there is to it is one single piece that plugs directly into your car’s 12 volt accessory plug. The PMK5800 transmits your calls to your stereo via a built-in FM transmitter, which can also transmit music from your A2DP enabled phone.

Along with all this, the Parrot PMK5800 also includes digital signal processing (DSP), echo cancellation, and voice recognition. It will be available this summer for about $120.

The only problem I see with this is that every time you need to make or receive a call, the stereo in your car will have to be on a specific station. If you are listening to a CD or another FM station this could pose a problem. However, if you want an FM transmitter for your A2DP phone and a Bluetooth car kit, too, the Parrot PMK5800 will be a perfect choice.

Parrot’s France division has announced the Parrot Party Bluetooth speaker system. The system features a rechargeable, 4 hour battery and a pair of 3-watt speakers. Sure, it won’t pack a punch, but at only 22 ounces and 9″ long, you are looking at a very portable piece of technology. Just pair up your A2DP phone and you’re set to go. The Parrot Party Bluetooth speaker system should be available in July for 119 Euros, or about $160 U.S.

It seems that Parrot will be releasing a Bluetooth enabled boombox later this year. The accurately dubbed Parrot Boombox will stream music wirelessly from your cell phone or Bluetooth enabled MP3 player. At 12 pounds and 60W this thing should pack a little bit of a punch, as it should if you are spending close to $300. The Parrot Boombox should be available second quarter.
