CNET gives the Plantronics 855 Bluetooth headset a very good score in their recent review. The Plantronics 855 functions as both a regular mono headset and as a stereo headset by attaching an earbud cable. The reviewer liked the stereo option because of its added functionality, though the small controls and sliding microphone boom were a bit of a concern. Overall, the Plantronics 855 received a 8 out of 10 in this review.

BlueTomorrow reviews the the Plantronics Pulsar 260 Bluetooth stereo headset.

As it stands, the device is difficult to promote as an ideal solution for listening to music and talking on the phone. We give it credit for its slightly better than average sound quality, and cannot discount these headphones as a possibility because they may work for some users in a quiet setting. However, we would think there are better multifunction products out there.

Seeing a picture of the new Plantronics Voyager 855 may make you look twice. The new Bluetooth headset doubles as a pair of stereo Bluetooth headphones. It uses a detachable cord with an earbud on the other end to give you A2DP compatible Bluetooth headphones. It is a very unique design, and I can definitely see a market out there for the Plantronics Voyager 855.

I4U checks out the one of the newer headsets from Plantronics in the Voyager 520 review. The headset garners a very good 8 out of 10 rating for a number of reasons including easy pairing, great audio quality, and noise canceling. The Plantronics Voyager 520 is slightly larger than other Bluetooth headsets, but seems to more than make up for it in quality, ease-of-use, and battery life.

The Gadgeteer has posted a very thorough Plantronics 665 Bluetooth headset review. The reviewer includes samples of the Plantronics 665’s voice quality and lots of closeup pictures for those of you who like to visualize things before you buy them.

Although the noise filtering features were not quite as good as the Aliph Jawbone, the much smaller size of the Plantronics 665 Bluetooth headset made up for that fact. At the same time, battery life is also decreased with size, allowing for only 3.5 hours of talk.

Legit Reviews has their Plantronics Pulsar 260 review posted and ready for your perusal. Sound quality was good, although not the best they had hear, but it did reproduce frequencies quite well. There were no problems with syncing, and video files played without losing audio sync.

Much like another such review, DigitalTrend’s Plantronics Pulsar 260 review gives the inexpensive stereo Bluetooth headset an 8 out of 10 rating. The reviewer was impressed with the sound quality of the headset, and found that the earbuds isolated sound very well. Battery life was also very good, giving 7 hours of listening time and 9 hours of talk time. The only real negative the reviewer found was that the Pulsar 260 was problematic when working with Skype, although Plantronics does not specify that the headset is compatible. This definitely seems like a good stereo Bluetooth headset for the money.

CNET reviews the Plantronics Pulsar 260 headset, giving it an “Excellent,” 8 out of 10 rating. All call functions and quality were great, although bass was a little light when listening to music. The only real negative CNET found was that the cord was a bit too long (36 inches) making it a bit cumbersome. Take a look for a quick tour of the Plantronics Pulsar 260 headset.

Laptop Magazine put two high-end Bluetooth headsets to the test in their Plantronics 665 vs. Aliph Jawbone review. Both headsets performed admirably, with the Plantronics 665 taking the victory in both design and ease of use. However, when it came to performance, the reviewer gave the Aliph Jawbone a slight edge. Battery life on the Jawbone was also impressive, hitting its advertised 6 hours talk time, while the Plantronics 665 fell a half hour short of its 3.5 hour advertised talk time.

In their Plantronics Explorer 350 review, Blue Tomorrow says some good things about this middle-end headset from the venerable Bluetooth headset manufacturer. The reviewer found that the Explorer 350 was one of the more comfortable headsets, although not everyone would find it a perfect fit. Sound quality was also great on the incoming end.

As for those on the other end of the conversation, there were no complaints and no one even knew a Bluetooth headset was being used. In noisy areas the Plantronics 350 did pick up a lot of noise, but that is to be expected.

I certainly recommend this device to anyone searching for an easy to use, high performance Bluetooth headset.
