These hooks are a universal type made to fit as many Bluetooth models as possible. They may not have the same look and feel as your OEM ear hook, but will still function as they should. These will also work on some models that didn’t offer a ear hook option (your mileage may vary follow the guidelines below). These hooks are proudly made in the USA and use a better plastic than the OEM hooks that were much more brittle. These hooks do not swivel like some models do.

This video was uploaded from an XOOM. This is not high quality. I may improve it later, but it gives you what you need to disassemble them without breaking them. I soldered the switch on with a 15 watt pencil. I wouldn’t use anything larger as you may damage it.

After 6 months of using both headsets, I can accurately compare these two headsets in detail. Motorola wins on comfort, sound quality, and connection quality, where as the Nokia is better looking, and has a much longer battery life. These are the best stereo bluetooth headsets (for on the go and gym, etc) I was able to find, with both having great reviews and beating out the competition (at the time of this review). I would say the Motorola is definitely the better headset, however the headset I normally use is the Nokia. EDIT: I forgot to mention the power connectors, the Motorola has a standard micro usb connector (found on most smart phones these days) and the Nokia has a proprietary pin connector, so another plus for Motorola. The devices I used to play music are the original mytouch phone and mainly the google nexus one phone.
